Without a stable place to live, it is hard to move forward in life. The YWCA provides a range of safe, affordable housing solutions for single mother-led families, ranging from short-term accomodation for women in crisis to longer-term family housing.
Semlin Gardens
Located in Vancouver, Semlin Gardens is a housing community that caters to single mothers participating in YWCA programs. You and your children can take pleasure in safe, affordable housing, which include a communal garden, play area and common room, all while enjoying the company and support of neighbours. The apartment community caters to families participating in YWCA programs.

Fraser Gardens
Located in Langley, Fraser Gardens is a housing community that caters to single mothers participating in YWCA programs. Similar to Semlin Gardens, Fraser Gardens includes a communal garden, play area and common room. The apartment community caters to families participating in YWCA programs.

Crabtree Housing
This innovative accommodation offers safe transitional housing for pregnant and parenting women who are overcoming substance abuse issues. The housing community uses a harm reduction approach and connects residents to YWCA and community resources.

This is a peaceful refuge where women who have experienced abuse in an intimate relationship, and their children, can feel safe and protected. At Munroe House, we work to overcome the trauma of abuse by offering you and your children emotional support. Our goal is to help you rebuild your life away from an abusive partner. You can be referred to Munroe House from other transition houses and are welcome to stay up to nine months. But the support doesn't end there. You are encouraged to return for ongoing counselling and assistance.

YWCA Hotel
In addition to providing affordable accommodation for all budget travelers, the YWCA Hotel also provides longer term housing to residents and temporary accommodations to others needing emergency shelter.
