Connor, Clark and Lunn Employees Mentor Youth

There is a blossoming trend in the corporate sector. Companies no longer want to just write a cheque, they want to get involved with the charities they support.

Connor, Clark and Lunn Financial Group recently donated $15,000 to the YWCA High School Mentorship Program.  Three of their employees are now volunteering as mentors with local grade 11 and 12 girls, sharing their professional knowledge and skills to help shape the careers of young women.

"This is such a great program. The YWCA knows how to make it fun for everyone plus we, as mentors, have the pleasure of helping girls who live in our community. " —Kathy Leavens, Connor, Clark and Lunn Financial Group

The Connor, Clark & Lunn Foundation was created in 1999 to distribute a percentage of the firm's revenue to not-for-profit organizations across Canada. The foundation strives to support a wide range of programs that help to promote a better environment, improvements to education, advances in science and medicine, stronger communities and the arts.
