Sponsor a Family - Make a difference in the lives of women and children by sponsoring a low-income family this holiday season. By becoming a sponsor you will be matched with a family and provided with their "wish list." Sponsors then shop for food and gifts and deliver the hamper to the family.

Give to YWCA Crabtree Corner - A donation to Crabtree Corner helps women and children in the Downtown Eastside. Donations support Crabtree’s community kitchen, parenting groups, a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder prevention program, temporary housing and Vancouver's only free, emergency child care centre. Buy Emergency Food Vouchers - In BC, 59% of the 108,000 families led by single mothers are living in poverty. As a result, it is often very difficult for them to afford even the most basic necessities. 100% of the funds raised for this program are used for the purchase of food vouchers.

Food vouchers help low-income single mothers get through difficult times. The YWCA purchases the food vouchers in bulk at a discount so your financial support will stretch even further. Donate now.

Support Shoes for Kids - A good pair of shoes is very important for babies who are learning to walk and physically active children. Children who participate in sports and recreational activities have higher self-esteem, do better in school and can learn how to stay fit for a lifetime.

In response to the growing number of families living in poverty who are unable to buy new shoes for their children, the YWCA launched the Shoes for Kids program in 2002. All the funds raised are used to purchase vouchers for modestly priced new athletic shoes for children who attend YWCA programs. Please help us help kids by making a donation today. Donate now.

Purchase YWCA Holiday Greeting Cards - Do you send holiday cards for personal or business use? In partnership with Cornerstone 52 Foundation the YWCA is pleased to offer two more ways to support children living in poverty in the Downtown Eastside.

Personal Holiday Cards are sold in boxes of 25 for $24.95. $10 from each box sold will go to YWCA. View cards and place an order online.

Business Holiday Greeting Cards are available with 15 different designs to choose from. Minimum order 200 cards. Premium Greeting Cards are $195 for 100 and Standard Cards are $180 for 100. 50% of the purchase price of these cards goes to YWCA Crabtree Corner Child Care Centre.
