Job Search Methods

Job search is not easy. At one point or another, all of us have found ourselves in need of help finding work. Whether you are interested in finding Vancouver jobs or jobs outside of the city, part-time or full-time work, below are six key ways to get started.

1.    Networking
2.    Informational interviewing
3.    Responding to job postings
4.    Cold calling employers
5.    Volunteering
6.    Registering with employment agencies

A mixed approach is best in order to achieve success, but certain methods can work better than others, depending on the type of work you’re looking for.
