The YWCA knows that quality, affordable early learning and child care is a top priority for parents in Vancouver. We operate four centres across the city to meet your child care needs.

Our child care centre staff are trained in early childhood, infant toddler and special needs education, as well as first aid and CPR.

Citygate Early Learning and Care Centre
For children ages 3 to 5 years, Citygate prepares children for school with a range of play-based activities. Citygate is located close to downtown Vancouver and accessible by SkyTrain.

Crabtree Corner Family and Emergency Early Learning and Care Centre
Located in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, this centre provides a healthy and secure environment for women and families. Services include a hot lunch program, housing and support groups. The early learning and child care centre offers short-term care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.

Emma's Early Learning and Care

Emma’s cares for children ages six weeks to three years, with a focus on supporting young mothers. Children have a safe, stimulating environment while mothers receive academic and personal support through Tupper Young Parent Services.

Leslie Diamond Early Learning and Care Centre
The centre is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, on the 5th floor of the YWCA building. This centre provides full-time early learning and child care, with a licensed capacity to care for 26 children from 6 weeks to 3 years. Hours of operation are from 7:45am to 5:30pm.
