Volunteer for Youth Programs
You can make a difference to youth
We have a number of rewarding and inspiring roles for volunteers.
The Welcome to My Life and Boys 4 Real programs aim to boost self-esteem and confidence amongst Grade 7 girls and boys, giving them essential life skills and the tools to help them achieve a smooth transition to high school. The two programs are delivered over seven to nine weeks in elementary schools throughout Metro Vancouver by two university/college students (Facilitators), a High School Mentor and two Wisdom Champion mentors.
Wisdom Champion mentors
Wisdom Champions are men and women over the age of 30 who volunteer their time to offer experience and stories and to support and encourage the university/college program facilitators and the Grade 7 participants.

Facilitators
Facilitators are university/college students who volunteer their time to deliver the programs. They act as role models, lead the program activities and share their life experience with the program participants.
