YWCA Housing Application & Resources
YWCA Metro Vancouver operates three not-for-profit long-term housing communities for single mothers and their children in the Lower Mainland—Semlin Gardens in Vancouver, Alder Gardens in Surrey and Fraser Gardens in Langley. Currently, there are no vacancies at these locations, but we 're accepting applications for our waitlist.
- Semlin Gardens – located near Trout Lake Park, the corner of 12th Avenue and Victoria Drive in Vancouver
- Alder Gardens – located near Newton Public Library, near 138th Street in Surrey
- Fraser Gardens – located on Fraser Highway, near 207th, in Langley
NEW HOUSING COMMUNITIES
The YWCA is developing two new long-term housing communities—Como Lake Gardens in Coquitlam and YWCA Cause We Care House in Vancouver's Strathcona community. Como Lake Gardens will be completed in spring 2012 and we anticipate to complete the construction on YWCA Cause We Care House, in late 2014.
